Green Bay Packers Training Camp

The Green Bay Packers Training Camp is something that we have really enjoyed as a family event. It is fun to see the players up close, watch them ride the bikes, and watch the practices. Many local people attend the training camps religiously and many others plan their family vacations around the Packers Training Camp. It is really worth seeing!

The Green Bay Packers Training Camp begins in late July and goes through late August. Click here for the practice schedule. Most of the practices are during the day but the Packers have included night practices for people who can attend in the evening.

In addition to watching the Packers practice, there are many other fun activities for the entire family.

Packers Experience

The Packers Experience is located at Lambeau Field. It is a training camp playground that is free for kids to enjoy. It is really fun and families really enjoy this Training Camp extra!

Packers Hall of Fame

Many people enjoy learning more about the history of the Green Bay Packers. The Packers Hall of Fame has something for everyone. Click here for more information.

Player Bike Rides

Many Packers players ride bicycles from Lambeau Field to the practice field. This tradition started with Vince Lombardi and is so much fun to watch! What other team has players riding kids’ bikes to practice? A lot of players ride the back of the bike or ride the bike with the child running beside the player. This tradition helps build the bound between the young fans and the Packers players. It is so unique and special to Green Bay that there is even in exhibit in the Packers Hall of Fame.

Many Packers players sign autographs before and after the practice. There is also an area called the "Future Lambeau Leapers" for kids 12 and younger to get autographs and meet players

Stadium Tour

Family Night

The Green Bay Packers Family Night is one of the highlights of training camp! Since the Packers games are always sold out, this event gives the fans a chance to experience the Lambeau Field excitement!

The Packers Family Night is an intra-squad scrimmage between the Packers’ offence and defense. It sells out almost every year! The event ends with a terrific firework display. The tickets are kept low at only $8.00. We highly recommend the Family Night as great fun for the whole family.

Tundra Tailgate Zone

This is a new attraction for the 2008 training camp season. Is will be a large area in the Lambeau Field parking lot with three tents that will have entertainment, the Packers Experience and food. The entertainment tent will have the "Future Lambeau Leapers", guest speakers, live bands and other fun activities. This new area sounds like so much fun and we will post some pictures and tell you more about it when we go!!
