Lambeau Field AtriumThe Lambeau Field Atrium is a fun way to spend the day. You don't have to be a Packers fan or even a football fan to enjoy everything the Atrium has to offer. The Atrium is 366,000 square feet and five stories tall and has meeting and event facilities, restaurants, a fan zone, the Packers Pro Shop and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. There is even free wireless Internet access in the Atrium! When Lambeau Field was renovated in 2001, the designers wanted to find a way to make money all year long. The Lambeau Field Atrium was the perfect solution. It was built as an entrance into the football stadium, office space for the Packers personelle and a way to bring money to the Green Bay Packers. Lambeau Field Atrium Entrance
It is hard to describe what it is like to walk up to Lambeau Field and see the beautiful Atrium entrance. The two statues of Curly Lambeau and Vince Lombardi stand in the Robert E Harlan Plaza in front of an 85-foot-tall glass wall. As you walk into the doors, you see beautiful terrazzo flooring and the glass wall creates an open, airy feeling. Look closely at the floor and you will see yard lines and hash marks in stone. Each one of these yard lines matches up with the yard lines on Lambeau Field! How cool is that! Executive OfficesThe Atrium was also built to provide office space. There are not very many stadiums where you can walk in and look up at the coaches' offices. This makes it very convenient and economical for the coaches and staff. Packers Hall of Fame
The Packers Hall of Fame is a great place to learn about the History of the Green Bay Packers. It is located downstairs and includes a 25,000 square foot area. You can see the 3 Super Bowl trophies as well as the Super Bowl rings. There are many exhibits and videos. One of our favorite areas is the kid's area where they can try on a uniform and do the Lambeau Leap!
There is a recreation of coach Vince Lombardi's office and you can even sit at his desk. Also included, is an area with life size figures of Packers players riding kid's bikes to training camp. You will always find something new and interesting each time you visit. It is really a great place to see even if you don't happen to be a Packers fan.
A Great Place to Eat and Shop
The Lambeau Field Atrium has some great places to eat. There is nothing like a bratwurst from Brett Favre's Two Minutes Grill or an ice cream from Frozen in Time Ice Cream. How about enjoying a game on TV while eating a burger from Curly's Pub? Here is a list of the restaurants in the Atrium: Open Year Round Curly's PubFrozen in Time Ice Cream Open Seasonally Brett Favre's Two Minutes GrillChili John's Goin' Deep Pizza The Meat Packing Co. The Packers Pro Shop is an amazing place to visit for any Packers fan. The first time we visited, we couldn't believe how much Green Bay Packers merchandise was available. They have everything from Green Bay Packers jerseys, apparel, bedding, helmets, hats and plenty of other memorabilia. The Lambeau Field Atrium also has a banquet/ballroom on the fourth level that can be rented out for everything from holiday parties, birthday parties, corporate and social events and wedding receptions. There is seating for up to 770 for weddings and 500 for corporate events. If you live in Green Bay or if you are visiting, the Lambeau Field Atrium is a great place to see. Come see for yourself!
